The Vanishing Tables Kit is designed for teaching students multiplication and division factors starting at about a 4th-5th grade level and up. The Vanishing Tables Method of teaching is about a 6-8 week process.
The VT-MD kit contains 6 different multiplication/division tables. Table number 1 is a FULL multiplication and division table. Certain factors on each of the 6 tables are printed in orange. Those factors printed in orange, indicate to the student that the NEXT table in the kit will not have those factors printed on them. So as they progress from table number 1 through 6, each successive table has fewer factors on it.
The students are first given table number 1 which they can keep for about 1 week, more or less, and they can use it for tests, homework etc. They return table number 1 and are next given table number 2 and so on until they receive table number 6, at which time they should have mastered multiplication and division.
The 6 pads in the Vanishing Tables Kit for Multiplication & Division are mounted on an 8.5 x 11" piece of cardstock. The cardstock is 3 hole punched for efficient storage in a 3 ring binder. All 6 pads are high resolution graphics printed on white paper with an adhesive across the top only.
Vanishing Tables Kits include instructions for using them and two "Jumbled Tables Assessments" for determining affectiveness.
